MUMBAI & SINGAPORE - March 2010

Commercial Tanker Operations

The oil tanker market is showing green shoots of recovery with most analysts agreeing that market has touched bottom and is now on an uptrend. However, significant hurdles still remain that can sink this market, most importantly the US oil demand, the strength of the recovery in OECD economies and tanker orderbook. The ship owners and other stake holders in this market need to position themselves sensibly in order to take advantage of the opportunities. But to avail these opportunities and have an optimum coverage strategy, not only do you require a good understanding of the tanker markets but also need to have a skilled commercial operations team in place.

Wade Maritime Consultants is proud to present our specialist commercial tanker operations course with modules designed by industry experts and experienced consultants to give you a comprehensive insight into commercial tanker operations. It will take you through the complex art of understanding charter-parties & their key clauses, voyage estimating, post-fixture operations and related documentation with the help of case studies and practical exercises.
